God"s Promises For You From the Bible

Doesn't it feel good to make a promise and then to fulfill it? God has the same attitude about fulfilling the promises that He made to us, His children.
Before we look at the promises God made to us, it is important to note the validity of every promise God made.
2 Corinthians 1:20 says that "no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ" (NIV).
This means that we can have confidence in every single promise the Lord made.
In Exodus 23:25-26, God promises, "Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water.
I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land.
I will give you a full life span.
" In other words, God promises you health for your physical body.
The Holy Spirit, speaking through Paul in Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
" God also promises protection in Psalm 91:11, "For [God] will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
" God has done His part in making the promises, and He will do His part in fulfilling them as long as we do our part.
2 Corinthians 1:20 says that through God, "the 'Amen' is spoken by us.
" When you verbally and mentally agree with God's promises, you enable them to be fulfilled in your life.
